Security+ certified IT professional transitioning into cybersecurity. I build security tools, study toward an MS in Cybersecurity at WGU, and bring hands-on experience from IT support and physical security.
Three degrees, two careers, one focused direction.
I started in physical security working shifts as an officer and supervisor at Allied Universal and Securitas. That gave me a ground-level understanding of access control, incident documentation, and risk that most IT people never get. From there I moved into desktop support at Franklin University, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues for staff and students every day.
I passed CompTIA Security+ (SY0-701) in April 2026, satisfying DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements. I am now pursuing an MS in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance at WGU while building hands-on security projects and actively targeting GRC Analyst, SOC Tier 1, and IT Security Analyst roles.
Building hands-on cybersecurity projects: a threat intelligence platform aggregating CISA KEV, AlienVault OTX, and AbuseIPDB feeds; a Security+ exam prep app used to pass SY0-701; and an AI-powered CTF lab. Pursuing MS in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance at WGU.
IT support for university staff and students. Hardware diagnostics, software configuration, network troubleshooting, Active Directory user management, and help desk ticket resolution across Windows and macOS environments.
Physical security operations at multiple sites. Access control enforcement, incident response and documentation, patrol coordination, risk assessment, and shift supervision of security personnel.
Live projects. All deployed. All functional.
AI-powered security operations platform with live threat feed aggregation (CISA KEV, AlienVault OTX, AbuseIPDB), Claude-powered alert triage, MITRE ATT&CK mapping, NIST CSF 2.0 compliance tracking, SOAR playbook engine, and full incident management. Simulates a production Tier-1 SOC analyst workstation.
Self-contained exam prep app with 373 questions, adaptive flashcards, Exam Simulator, Cyber Blitz mini-game, and three PBQ simulations. Built and used to pass SY0-701 in April 2026.
AI-powered cybersecurity training platform with 32 lab topics across four types: CTF Challenges, Guided Attack Simulations, Blue Team Defense Labs, and Security+ domain exercises. Claude API is routed through a Supabase Edge Function proxy so API keys never touch the browser. Difficulty selector, live CTF timer, lab history, and completion tracking built in.
Full study platform for the ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) exam. 1000 practice questions across all 5 domains, with a full exam simulator matching the real format: 100 questions, 120 minutes, 700/1000 to pass. Covers security principles, business continuity, access controls, network security, and security operations.
A dedicated study and practice platform built while pursuing CompTIA CySA+ (CS0-003). Covers threat and vulnerability management, security operations, incident response, and compliance. Built to reinforce hands-on analyst skills beyond the Security+ foundation.
